- What are you looking forward to most about the Engadin Cycle Marathon?
As this is my first year on the organising committee, I’m particularly looking forward to experiencing the event from a new perspective. Until now, I’ve only ever known the Engadin Cycle Marathon as an outsider – so being part of it now and getting a glimpse behind the scenes is absolutely thrilling. For me, it’s the atmosphere on the day and the teamwork that make it so special.
- Describe your area of responsibility in a few words
I work in communications and am primarily responsible for supporting external communications relating to the event. This includes social media, website content, and helping to produce newsletters and other communication materials both before and after the event.
- What is your favourite thing about the Engadin Cycle Marathon region?
As someone from Flawil, the Engadin offers me a welcome change from everyday life. I am particularly struck by the vastness of the landscape, the tranquillity and the stunning mountain scenery. The small villages and the crisp, clear air make the region very special to me.
- Your insider tip in the region
My top tip is to make a point of taking time out to enjoy nature – for example, on a walk with views of the mountains or through one of the pretty villages. It is precisely these peaceful moments and the stunning scenery that make the Engadin so special to me.
